In order to ensure comprehensive security for the individual to be protected, we need to take an inventory of the situation in advance.
The status quo is documented by drawing up an outline of the current situation, particularly through a one-to-one discussion with the customer, in the form of a checklist.

This checklist queries personal details, the source of the danger, the motive, the private and professional setting, daily routines, journeys, any security already in place, etc. This is just a sample list of the information we need to carry out our job effectively. Information obtained via other channels will also be factored into the assessment.

The analysis needs to be repeated regularly in order to remain up to date and appropriate for the job, and forms a key basis for the concept derived from it.
